The Northeast Kingdom

Wheeler Mountain - Whine and Cheese
Red Stinger 5.8 160'
Red Stinger has had several more bolts added by the first ascentionist and no longer warrants an R protection rating. A great pitch, recommended.
Wheeler Mountain - The Great Corner
"Garcia-Powers" 5.10d R 180'
A direct line up The Great Slab from atop the first pitch of VJ's.
P.1 Climb the first pitch of VJ's.
P.2 Climb up the bolted slab above with some serious climbing, a tricky gear placement, and some memorable runouts (25-30' between the first 3 bolts). Continue up the slab passing more bolts and some tricky trad placements, to an anchor halfway between The Great Corner and Zorro. 5.10d R 180'
FA Randy Garcia, David Powers, Aug, 2014.

Variation: The Zorro Finish
Traverse right on the major horizontal ledge below The Great Corner, passing the anchor atop Garcia-Powers, and another bolt. Set up a gear anchor on flakes. Climb the last pitch of Zorro (5.8) with good protection, fun climbing, and great exposure.
